INVITATION FOR BIDS   

1. The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Environment and Energy (the Employer), invite bids from eligible and qualified bidders to the Design and Build of Two (02) Landing Crafts

2. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

3. The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500/-(Maldivian Rufiyaa Thousand and Five Hundred) from 6^th June 2016 to 23^rd June 2016 between 0830hrs and 1330hrs on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

5. A Pre-bid meeting will be held on 16^th june 2016 at 1100 hours Maldivian time at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

6. The Bid security shall be MVR 100,000/- , which shall be valid for 118 days from the date of bid opening.

7.  Bids shall be valid for a period of 91 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified above in Clause 4 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hours Maldivian time on 30^th June 2016, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
