Media Consultant:

Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure is mandated by government to implement and oversee infrastructure development projects throughout the Maldives. During the past year, the number of projects has increased requiring media campaigns and events to create public awareness. Ministry thus requires a liaison between general public and the Ministry to promote the works, raise awareness on legislations and public services.

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or Communication and five (5) years’ experience in the field OR
2. Master’s Degree in Public Relations or Communication and three (3) years’ experience in the field.
3. Should have strong leadership, management and communication skills in presenting, discussing and resolving difficult issues and have the ability to work efficiently and effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
4. The successful individual must be willing to work for extended periods without direct supervision and travel routinely to islands within the catchment.

Responsibilities

1. Operational management of all media events
2. Overseeing all media communication between Ministry and general public

Remuneration

Salary is negotiable.
