REVISED INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
DEVELOPMENT OF A TWENTY-FIVE STORY MULTI PURPOSE COMMERCIAL BUILDING
1. Notice to all bidders
The Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) Ref: 60-ADM/2024/265 is modified as set forth in this revised EOI. The original EOI Documents will hereby superseded, as this revised EOI will remain in full force and effect. Bidders shall take this revised EOI into consideration when preparing and submitting their EOI.
State Trading Organization Plc (STO) extends an invitation to interested and eligible companies that fulfill the criteria detailed in the accompanying Terms of Reference (TOR). These companies are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the development of Twenty-five story multipurpose commercial building.
The project development can be carried out on contractor financing method or equity finance from client, and will follow the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) method.
2. As a guidance for the preparation of the EOI, please find the following attached to this notice.

3. Criteria for shortlisting applications.
a. The applicant must have successfully completed at least one concrete structure multipurpose commercial building with a value of USD 18,000,000 (eighteen million) or more as the primary contractor within the past five years. Experience as a subcontractor will not be considered.
4. Submission of EOI.
a. The EOI shall be type written and signed by the applicant or a person or persons, duly authorized by the applicant to submit the proposal.
b. The applicant shall submit their EOI via email to [email protected] clearly subjected “EOI for the development of a Twenty-Five story multipurpose commercial building”.
c. Deadline for submission is 17th August 2024, 1600hrs, Maldives Time.
d. STO may, at its discretion, extend this deadline for the submission of the EOI, in which case all rights and obligations of STO and applicants previously subject to the deadline will thereafter be subject to the deadline as extended.
e. Any EOI received by STO after the deadline for submission of EOI will be rejected.
f. The applicant may withdraw its EOI after submission, provided that written notice of the withdrawal is received by STO prior to the deadline for submission. No EOI may be modified after passing of the deadline for submission of EOI.
