Consultant Services for: Human Resource Capacity Building Assessment for the Waste Management and Pollution Control Sector, Maldives
Request for Proposal
The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the services of a Consultant Services (FIRM) for: Human Resource Capacity Building Assessment for the Waste Management and Pollution Control Sector, Maldives.
The main objective of this assignment is Developing and strengthening the institutional capacity of the sector is a key component of the consultancy, which would help to improve WMPC services, planning and management, monitoring and coordination, as well as enforcement.
Consulting firms may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Proof of JV or Sub-consultancy must be submitted.
A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost based selection (QCBS) method set out in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for Borrowers under Investment Project Financing, dated July 1, 2016 and revised in 2017.
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy thereby, invites interested firms, who meet the requirements specified in the TORs to submit the Technical and Financial Proposals in the sealed Envelops to the following address:Technical and Financial Proposals must be sealed in separate Envelops.
Qualifications and experience required to be eligible for consideration for this assignment is specified in the clause (8) Qualification and experience and in the evaluation, criteria are specified in the clause (9) of the Terms of reference attached to this invitation.

Proposal Submission
Technical and Financial proposal shall be submitted to the to the below address before 11:00 AM Maldivian Time of 8th August 2024. Electronic bidding will not be permitted and Late bids shall be rejected.
