Job Responsibilities

• Introduce well established system of making complaints about defective medicines.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers to implement quality protocols.
• Facilitate to conduct quality related audits (online/onsite).
• Ensure adequate temperature monitoring & logging mechanism of medical warehouse, stores and pharmacies.
• Ensure quality control at shipment clearance and checking process at main warehouse.
• Execute voluntary batch recall in the event of a reported quality issue, urgent recall should be carried out in the event of notification from MFDA or manufacturer.
• Conduct internal investigation and report to authorities in the event of an Adverse drug reaction (ADR)
• Conduct routine inspections of warehouses, stores and pharmacies to ensure compliance to MFDA guidelines.
• In the event of a prescription error, lead the investigation and report to relevant authorities.
• Ensure the compliance to quality manuals.
• Ensure that relevant staff of pharmacies are aware with regulatory requirements of agencies (MFDA,
• Conduct quality assurance/quality related SOP trainings to the relevant staff.

Required Qualification

• Diploma or a higher qualification in Pharmacy or a related field 

Preferred Requirements

• Proficient in both Dhivehi and English language
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Good computer skills
