CONSULTING SERVICES - Economic Feasibility Study and Market Analysis for the Proposed Aquaculture Species

The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resource and Agriculture has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Transforming Fisheries Sector Management in South- West Indian Ocean Region and Maldives Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under Consulting Services. The consulting services required is to hire an Individual Consultant for Economic Feasibility Study and Market Analysis for the Proposed Aquaculture Species.

 The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources now invites eligible consultants to submit expression of interest and proposals. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The criteria are:

• A master’s degree or above in marketing, business administration, financing or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in aquaculture will be an added advantage
• Fluency in English and Dhivehi language
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
