Fields:

Teaching Related Work

  • Deliver the courses, workshops and practicals conducted by the University in accordance with the assigned workload and delivery mode.
  • If assigned the role of the Head of Department, allocate workload to the employees under his/her supervision in compliance with the University's workload policy and ensure their adherence to the assigned hours.
  • Before the start of the semester, prepare the course page for the subjects assigned, with the subject outline, materials and assignment links with the deadlines and upload it to the learning management system.
  • Upload materials, assessments and tutorials in the learning management system before the start of the semester, and manage and update them.
  • Prepare session plans for the subjects taught, prepare, collect, and update the materials to incorporate recent changes or developments in the field and hand it over to the person in charge of the department at the end of the semester
  • Use teaching methods that are up-to-date and engaging for students
  • Initiate and engage in planning, evaluation and revision of curriculum, course content, course material and teaching methods
  • Take the initiative in designing new courses and new curricula and revising existing curricula based on national needs and changes in the Labor market.
  • If assigned the role of Head of Department (HOD), take the initiative in performing the duties associated with the role
  • Prepare and review assessments of the assigned subjects and complete them before the date specified by the university/faculty.
  • Prepare and review the examination papers of the assigned subjects before the deadline set by the university.
  • Mark the assigned examination papers and assessments within the given time frame, participate in moderating marks and provide feedback to students before the deadline.
  • Review examination papers and assessments prepared by full-time and part-time lecturers of the department if assigned.
  • Supervise research or project work of undergraduate and postgraduate students, mark theses and dissertations and deliver research seminars.

Research Work

  • Conduct national and international research in the field that is needed by the country and society.
  • Conduct collaborative scientific research with other employees and publish the results at a level of quality that meets the standards set by the University.
  • Conduct research in the related field and publish the findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media.

Administrative and Other work

  • Update and maintain student attendance records, grades, and other information in the subjects taught.
  • Prepare mark sheets for assigned subjects and enter the marks in self service.
  • Carry out administrative duties related to the subjects taught and perform learning-related tasks within the self-service and learning management system.
  • Coordinate assigned subjects and courses in accordance with university guidelines.
  • Communicate regularly with students in accordance with established procedures, respond to students regularly, give students time outside the classroom to discuss matters related to their studies.
  • Take the initiative to participate in different committees and meetings of the university, faculty and department, and complete the relevant tasks that are assigned.
  • In addition to teaching, participate in faculty and university related professional and social activities.
  • Engage in a friendly and cooperative manner with other faculty members.
  • Work professionally in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
  • Assist new employees in familiarizing themselves with the work environment.
  • Collect and update course information, share the information required to prepare marketing material, participate in advertising courses, information dissemination and other similar activities.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the post of Head of Department if assigned.
  • Research recommends textbooks, software, equipment and other teaching resources necessary to enhance the teaching process.
