Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development and the Ministry of Economic Development.

As part of this project Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development seeks an Individual for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, to work in the implementation of the project. Advertisement published on 08^th January 2024, Ref (IUL)475-PMU/475/2024/2 has been cancelled due to no parties meeting the criteria.  Your application should reach us before 12:00 Hours, 29^th January 2024.Late submissions will not be accepted.

Terms of Reference and Duration of Service

Interested individuals may download the terms of reference which outline the scope of service, the key qualifications, experience and terms of payment relevant to this position from the gazette. The service is for a period of 10 (TEN) MONTHS. Any renewal will be based on a performance evaluation of the individual selected.

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the ‘World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers’ Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (hereafter referred to as the “Regulations”).
