The Government of Maldives (GoM) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Digital Maldives for Adaptation, Decentralization and Diversification (DMADD) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to eligible payments under the contract for the services of an Internal Auditor.
The Consultant will work intermittently with the Project Management Unit (PMU) as the Internal Auditor of the project in making sure that the required internal control protocols and checks has been maintained and used in the process of disbursement of projects funds to the intended recipients effectively and efficiently for the intended purposes.
The Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy (MoCCEE) now invites eligible individuals to submit their “Expression of Interest” (EOI). Interested individuals should provide a CV including information that demonstrates that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills, etc.)
The Candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:
The candidate shall be a Chartered Accountant or a /Certified Internal Auditor, with at least two (02) years of specific experience in the field of internal auditing, and minimum general experience of five years. Experience in the field of internal auditing specifically in the donor funded projects will be an added advantage.
The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in The World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers; Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services; Fifth Edition dated September 2023.
