Project Name: CONSTRUCTION OF SEENU HITHADHOO REGIONAL HOSPITAL

1. The Government of Republic of Maldives has received loan from Saudi Fund for Development and Opec Fund for International Development (OFID) towards the cost of Infrastructure development of a tertiary hospital  and intends to apply part of the proceed of this grant payments under the contract; Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital.

2. The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT) on behalf of the Ministry of Health, now intends to pre-qualify contractors for the Construction of Seenu Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, and now invites sealed bid from eligible bidders for the works given above.

3. Pre-Qualification Documents may be obtained from Tender Evaluation Section of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, from 25^th January 2015 to 11^th February 2015 between 0830 hrs and 1400 hrs on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred).

5. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of amount Maldivian Rufiyaa 250,000.00 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rufiyaa)at the time of submission of price proposal and the bid security shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

6.  Prequalification documents shall be submitted to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, in accordance with the requirements given in the Pre-qualification Documents, at the address specified above in Clause 4 of this Invitation for pre-qualification, on or before 12^th February 2015(Thursday) at 1400 hrs Maldivian time.
