Senior Quantity Surveyor
Project Management & Development

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field with 3 year experience in a relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible to establish the cost of installation, materials, and workmanship to come out with quotations for each individual project that the company is handling, while ensuring that they are well–planned and beneficial for both the company and the main contractors.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Value completed works, check measurements with drawings conduct site visits to verify the completed works and preparation of payment certificates, if needed.
• Prepare BOQ/BOM for works as required and comment on BOQ/BOM of projects under formulation and implementation.
• Undertake costs analysis for project works.
• Perform risk and value management and cost control.
• Assess variation/claims and provide technical assistance for finalizing contractual claims.
• Prepare claim reports and variation orders.
• Assist and/or prepare technical reports, Committee/Board papers and other reports as required.
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to risks related to project cost/budget.
• Track, maintain and update financial progress of projects, payment schedules of projects, claims and variations records, as required.
• Track and monitor submission, durations, and validity of guarantees/bonds of projects.
• Review and comment on payment schedules of projects.
• Review and advise on contract documents as required.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Dhivehi.
• Should be able to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong familiarity with project management software and technical know-how of the projects.
• Strong negotiation skills critical and analytic thinking, and mathematical skills.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary between MVR 24,500.00 to 28,000.00 based on education qualification and experience.
