Request for Expression of Interest
Social and Gender Specialist (individual) for the “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”
The Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Technology has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards implementing the project “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”,and intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a Social and Gender Specialist who will be responsible to conduct a scoping study, determine target groups and methods, facilitate development and coordinate implementation of project design elements that will maximize gender and social inclusion benefits in the identified subproject areas and will design and implement women-targeted and social inclusion interventions for the finalized outputs.
The Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Technology invites interested eligible individuals to submit their application.
Eligibility Criteria

Schedule for the Assignment
Duration of this of this assignment is 12 months, (with the possibility of extension for 6 months) for the date of commencement with a potential extension based on the performance and need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services in May 2023.
Remuneration
Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 22,770.00

- Copy of National ID Card
- Copies of higher degree Academic Certificates or transcripts
- Letters of experience
- Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer to release from the job.
