Enumerators will work with Research Project: Methylenetetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) Gene C677T Polymorphism and Its Association with Folate, Homocysteine, Anaemia, Menstrual cycle patterns, Outcomes of pregnancy, And Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Females Are responsible for a wide range of tasks, which can include:
- Collecting and documenting information.
- Interviewing respondents to gather information about their experiences with various products or services
- Data from surveys or questionnaires are recorded on paper forms or computer tablets for statistical analysis.
- Identifying potential respondents via telephone surveys to gauge interest in taking part in a study.
- Explaining study procedures to participants to ensure they understand the procedure
- Obtaining data on respondents' education, occupation, and other demographic factors
- Recruiting new study participants over the phone or in person by explaining study details to gauge interest in taking part in a study.
- Following the event, participants were interviewed.
- Confidentiality must be maintained when collecting data.
- Data from surveys or questionnaires are recorded on paper forms or computer tablets for statistical analysis.
- The sampling frame for the study will be the women of reproductive age associated with the 8 different higher education institutions in the country including the campuses in the atolls.
Enumerators may be required to present their findings in a concise and clear manner. This might include creating reports, presentations, or other visual aids that clearly communicate their findings to others in this research project.
