Food Allowance:

Master’s Degree (MNQF Level 9) with a Bachelor’s Degree (MNQF Level 7) or higher certificate in the related field.

 

Note: Where a Master’s Degree is not present, for candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree and higher-level Certificates, the duration of both Certificates should exceed minimum 4 years full-time equivalent Credits (480 Credits as per MNQF standards) achieved can be considered.

Educational Background: 

  • Prepare and Develop teaching materials, and conduct lectures, tutorials and practical classes, workshops, field visits according to the course syllabus and scheme of work
  • Prepare, review, and assess student’s coursework assignments.
  • Prepare and mark examination papers, invigilate examinations, and participate in moderating the examination papers.
  • Carry out administrative work related to the assigned subjects.
  • Prepare the subjects page on the University Moodle by uploading the course outline and materials prior to the start of the semester.
  • Prepare and upload marks sheets to MNU Self-service and finalize the students’ grades pages.
  • Maintain cordial relations with other members of the faculty in accordance with the ‘Code of Conduct’ and professionalism.
  • Respond to student’s emails regularly and provide time for meetings with students outside of class hours for relevant discussions.
  • Monitor the performance and progress of each student.
  • Coordinate the subject and the course.
  • Participate in department meetings and committee meetings.
  • Participate in academic activities organized by the university and the faculty.
  • Develop and revise the curriculum.
  • Provide feedback to management on course proceedings and continual improvement of the student performance.
  • Participate in training programs to improve teaching skills, contribute to improve the quality of education and maintain academic standards.
  • Undertake research projects and actively contribute to the research profile of the University.
  • Assist the management in developing knowledge and skills of junior staff
  • Support and contribute to activities carried out for the development of the faculty.
  • All assigned responsibilities related to the position, other than the responsibilities mentioned above.
