This procurement notice is issued cancelling Number: (IUL)221-ASS/221/2022/30 (12 May 2022) procurement notice.

1. The Republic of Maldives has received financing from the Indian Government toward the cost of the N. Miladhoo new council building Project.
2. The Local Government Authority now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of N. Miladhoo new council building Project.

3.      Bidding will be conducted to Indian and Maldivian Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.      Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr.Shafaahu Dawood, Assistant Project Officer,  Administration and support services section , Local government Authority at the address given below.

5.       Margin of Preference is not applicable. Eligible bidders are required to quote for 100% of items.

6.      Interested bidders shall register with the Local government Authority, from 27^th June 2022 to 06^th July 2022 by:

a)      the proposer shall be registered upon submitting in person (only on government working days) or by electronic mail, the following information:

• Name and Address and country of the Proposer
• Name, Email address and contact number of the Contact Person(s)
• Name of the project and reference number.
• Company registration number.

7.    A Complete set of Drawing and BOQ is attached to this document. The employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the Maldivian government Gazette (https://www.gazette.gov.mv/)  for the latest information related to this bid. Any other Document (If required) will be emailed to the registered parties through email.

8.      Bids must be delivered to the address below on 09^th August 2022, 1100 hours. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened immediately in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.

9.      All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 2,313.00 or equivalent in USD at the bank rate. Bank rates can be check from Maldives monitory authority website (https://www.mma.gov.mv/).
