1. The Government of Maldives hasfinancing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY) Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Refurbishment of Maldives Polytechnic Male’ Campus.
2. The Ministry of Higher Education now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Refurbishment of Maldives Polytechnic Male’ Campus.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Mohamed Manaan, Procurement Specialist, Email: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 0800 – 1300 until 18th July 2022 (Monday) 0900 Hoursat the address given below.
5. Information session will be held onsite at Maldives Polytechnic Male’ Campus on 29th June 2022 (Wednesday) at 1100 Hours. Bids will not be accepted by those parties who do not attend this information session/site visit.
6. The bidding document in English can be downloaded by interested Bidders from the Gazette page as well as upon the submission of a written application to the address below.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on 19th July 2022 (Tuesday) 11:00 Hours. Late Bids will be rejected
8. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 30,000/- (Maldivian Rufiyaa Thirty Thousand). All information regarding Bid Security is included in the bidding document. Please get more information about the bid security from bidding document.
