MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Master’s Degree or MNQF Level 9 Qualification in Architecture/Project Management/relevant field with minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field. (OR)
• Bachelor’s Degree or MNQF Level 7 Qualification in Architecture/Project Management/relevant field with minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible to oversee, direct, plan and organize key functions of the Architectural Design & Development Section such as formulation and implementation of projects.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Manage task assigns within the section, direct and monitor progress through established methodologies and schedules.
• Advise and direct the design team on the coordination with stakeholders to achieve building design.
• Provide technical knowledge and advice to the team regarding international best practiced concepts and methodologies within the sections work.
• Collaborate and ensure that designs align to organizational long-term needs, guidelines, industry standards, legal requirements, and regulations.
• Assist in collaborating with developers, to provide technical direction, design specifications, development and quality assurance.
• Oversee documented technical requirements, development and project plans to ensure adherence to defined standards and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge throughout the development staff.
• Manage and oversee the cost on a wide variety of in house and outsource projects.
• Oversee terms of reference, tender and contract documents for construction projects.
• Determine cost estimates targets during design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
• Ensure that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements.
• Ensure work meets the accepted quality and standard of the department to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Establish a level of review to achieve quality control and assurance of produced works from the section members.
• Be through with internal SOP’s and corporate procedures established and conduct periodical revisions and development.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATION
• Understand and application of local laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the design and development process.
• Ability to interpret maps, site and building plans and specifications, graphs and statistical data.
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering and architectural plans, concepts and methodologies.
• Managerial skills and leadership skills.
• Effective task delegation and ability to identify right personnel.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, team building and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of any relevant software and Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Team, etc.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross salary negotiable based on qualification and experience.
