Extension of the Registration Period for the “License to Operate Cargo Office Space at MACL New Cargo Building in VIA”
Reference is given to the Tender notice no 116-F3/IL/2022/48 dated 29th March 2022 where Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) operating the Velana International Airport (VIA) expressed its wish to provide licenses to interested eligible parties to operate the cargo office spaces in the MACL New Cargo building in VIA. The parties who win an office space are required to setup & operate the cargo office space on their own in accordance with MACL guidelines and instructions.
The initial Registration period for this Tender ended on 1100hrs of 13th April 2022, Wednesday. However, a lot of parties are still expressing interest (EOI) to Register for this Tender. Therefore, as per the management decision, the Registration period has been extended till 1130hrs of 31st May 2022, Tuesday.
The interested parties to this Tender shall belong to one of the categories below:
1. Cargo Sales Agents (CSA) of International Airlines registered in the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
2. Cargo Brokers/Agents licensed as a Customs Broker/Agent in the Maldives Customs Service.
Interested parties shall Register in the bidding by an expression of interest (EOI) by post, fax or email ([email protected]) on or before 1130hrs of 31st May 2022, Tuesday. The registering party shall provide their full legal name, address and contact details in order to be registered. The Tender Document will be shared with all the Registered Parties via email upon Registration period end.
The bid submitting parties shall furnish a Bid Security of MVR 15,000 in accordance, for each proposing office space/location.
Bids in compliance with the details and requirements stated in the Tender Document shall be submitted to MACL on or before 1130hrs of 22nd June 2022, Wednesday. Late bids will be rejected. The submitted bids will be opened at sharp 1130hrs of 22nd June 2022, Wednesday, in MACL Corporate Office Building at VIA, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
Evaluation of the bids will be performed after which MACL will deliberate and finalize the award.
