MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

1. Bachelor’s Degree or MNQF Level 7 Qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field (OR)
2. Advanced Diploma or MNQF Level 6 Qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering with minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field.

OVERALL SCOPE
Civil Engineering overall responsibility includes planning, executing and finalizing projects according to the strict guidelines and within budget.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Execute designing and development of assigned projects and tasks.
• Management of projects during both formulation and implementation stage.
• Monitor and inspection of ongoing and completed buildings to ensure design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Ensure to comply with all aspects of local laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards pertaining to the planning process.
• Conduct task relevant research and analysis to ensure all the assigned projects run smoothly and without any issues.
• Provide design consultancy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Make recommendations or present solutions to any emerging problems/deficiencies.
• Follow and be thorough with internal SOP’s and corporate procedures established.
• Ensure to follow proper documentation and quality control standards.
• Prepare progress reports and statements regarding project status.
• Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding own tasks or team tasks to find solutions or way forward to complete objectives.
• Assist HoU, HoS and HoD in the management of the sections day to day tasks and works.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Able to interpret and understand engineering and architectural plans, concepts and methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of building and construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
• Fluent with AutoCAD and experience in Autodesk Revit.
• Fluent with structural design software’s such as STAAD Pro.
• Direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development.
• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum.
• Strong familiarity with project management software’s and technical know-how of the projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
• Able to identify and delegate tasks to the right personnel.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Dhivehi.
• Should be familiar with Microsoft office package and any other software relevant

SALARY PACKAGE

Negotiable based on qualification and experience.
