  • Basic Salary: MVR 10,000/-

  • Attendance Allowance: MVR 2500/-
  • Fixed Allowance: MVR 2500/-

  • Phone Allowance: MVR 450/-

       QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in agriculture related field or Diploma in agriculture related field with 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience working in a similar area at managerial/supervisory level.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill.
  • Able to work overtime as and when required.

      IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NO LIMITED TO:

  • Ensure suitable cropping patterns, taking into consideration the soil quality, climatic conditions and crop water requirements and prepare cropping calendar and schedule.
  • Participate in monitoring and supervision of farms and other facilities of AgroNat.
  • Develop farmer’s training materials and information document required.
  • Conduct farmer training and awareness programs.
  • Ensure the project implemented sites are continuously monitored and evaluate the effectiveness of production in the sites.
  • Develop procedures and protocols to attend to agricultural issues and improve efficiency in production.
  • Identify new and better methods of farming based on evidence and issues faced by the farmers.
  • Liaise on a regular basis with the stakeholder institutions and farmers.
  • Provide technical assistance required in the formulation of the business plan and other documents;

     WORKING HOURS:

  • 08:00am to 16:00pm (Sunday to Thursday; and Saturdays if needed).
