Completion of Waste Transfer Vessel at K.Thilafushi

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (MoECCT) has intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract under the contract for the project “ Completion works of Waste Transfer Vessel at K.Thilafushi “. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

Bid Registration

Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology via the application form available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall mail to the email address [email protected] not later than 1000 hours on 22^nd November 2021. This tender is only open for registered parties.

Pre-bid Meeting

A pre-bid meeting will be held on 23^rd  November 2021 at 1400 hours Maldivian time at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology. A site visit will be arranged after the pre-bid meeting.

Bid Security

The bidder shall furnish a bid security of MVR 17,500 ( Seventeen Thousand and Five Hundred MVR or equivalent in USD ) for the project. The bid security shall be valid for 118 days from the date of the bid opening.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology, before 13:00 PM Maldivian Time on 30^th  November 2021. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 13:00 PM on 30^th  November 2021 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.
