Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

Announcement published on 4^th July 2021, Ref (IUL)475/475/2021/166 has been cancelled due to no candidates passing the interview stage and new invitation for EOI is open for interested individuals.

As part of this project MoHE seeks an Individual for the position of PROJECT OFFICER to work in the implementation of the project. Expressions of Interest must be submitted by email to [email protected] along with the below documents before 12:00 PM, 14^th October 2021 (Thursday).

Remuneration: MVR 17,550- 20,160

Terms of Reference and Duration of Service

Interested parties may download the terms of reference which outline the scope of service, the key qualifications, experience and terms of payment relevant to this position from the gazette. The service is for a period of ONE year. Any renewal will be based on a performance evaluation of the individual selected.
