PROJECT: DEVELOPING A HARBOUR WITH BERTHING SERVICES AT K. DHIYANERU FALHU 2
SUBJECT: DESIGN CONSULTANCY SERVICES
BACKGROUND
MFMC intend to develop a harbour with berthing services for safari and supply vessels, at K. Dhiyaneru Falhu 2.
Initially this project will be developed to accommodate safe mooring with marina services for 500 vessels of different sizes operating in the area. Approximately 3ha – 5ha land will be reclaimed for the project.
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this EOI is to hire a consultancy firm for the design consultancy services for developing a harbour with berthing services at K. Dhiyaneru Falhu 2.
SCOPE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The scope of this assignment is to provide design consultancy services for developing a harbour with berthing services at K. Dhiyaneru Falhu 2. The consultancy services include preparation of, but not limited to the following:
- Preliminary Designs
- Detailed Design
- Bill of Quantities and,
- Project bidding documents
DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT
As result of this EOI, MFMC will issue Request for Proposal for selecting a consultant for the service. Selected consultant will be awarded to sign a consultancy agreement with MFMC for the duration of 6 months (180 calendar days).
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
MFMC now invites interested parties to indicate their interest in providing the services (Company profile, Organizational structure, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions etc.)
The Employer will prepare a short list of consultancy firms based on EOI’s and detailed RFP will be released to shortlisted firms.
QUALIFICATION OF CONSULTANCY FIRM
The consultancy firm shall have at least 10 years’ experience in similar project with experience in designing of floating structures.
The consultancy firm shall have minimum 10 years’ professional experience designing marine/coastal structures.
SELECTING A CONSULTANCY FIRM
The consultancy firm will be selected through RFP, which will be issued after the EOI.
The Expression of Interests are expected to be submitted to the address below by (regular mail, emails, or fax), no later than August 08, 2021, 14:00hrs local time marked “CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DEVELOPING A HARBOUR WITH BERTHING SERVICES AT K. DHIYENERU FALHU 2”.
