Visiting Neurodevelopment Therapist

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Possession of a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy from an accredited professional educational program.
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a licensed therapist.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills in word processing and on line communication.
• Possession of good interpersonal, time management, problem solving and self-initiation skills.

SCOPE OF WORK

• The appointee to this position is responsible for assessment, provision of appropriate therapy, equipment and support for babies and young children aged 0 – 3 years and their families/caregivers.
• Be responsible for the assessment and provision of essential specialized equipment required by the child and caregivers
• Perform standardized developmental assessments
• Be involved in early intervention groups
• Ensure children and their families/ caregivers are kept informed and are supported appropriately
• Provide advice on neurodevelopmental therapy to others in the team as required
• As appropriate, provide reports on clients to the referral agent following assessment or review
• Ensure all documentation is current and accurate

SALARY PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: MVR 7035.00

Service Allowance: MVR 2500.00

Risk Allowance: MVR 100.00 per day attended

Technical Core Allowance: 28% of basic salary
