Request for Expressions of Interest

 

CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP OPERATIONAL FRAMEWORK TO ESTABLISH CAREER GUIDANCE SERVICES IN MALDIVES

 

The Government of Maldives (GoM) is implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

 

Advertisement published on 14th January 2021, Ref (IUL)475/475/2021/13 has been cancelled due to no response and new invitation for EOI is open for interested individuals. 

 

As part of this project, MoHE seeks an Individual Consultant to carry out the consultancyto develop Operational Framework to Establish Career Guidance Services in Maldives. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted along with the CV, documents supporting the candidate’s qualifications and experience on or before 13:00 PM (Local Time), 17th February 2021 (Wednesday).Late submissions will not be accepted.

 

 

Terms of Reference:

Selection of the consultant:

 

Consultant will be selected based on the EOI submitted and after interview process.

 

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the ‘World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers’ Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (hereafter referred to as the “Regulations”).
