State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) is seeking an interested and suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of:
Position: Waste Management Consultant
Salary: MVR 20,000 (Twenty Thousand) per month
Role Information:
STELCO is currently seeking a Waste Management Consultant to get consultancy service in order to develop modern sustainable Waste Management Systems in STELCO managed islands in the region and to resolve issues arising due to waste.
The consultant should provide assistance during the research, design, and implementation of waste management systems and offer insightful environmental friendly solutions to mitigate waste management issues, and must design how the necessary changes are to be implemented.
Experience and skills required:
- Experience in Waste Management field with demonstrated technical capacity.
- Knowledge and Experience in Microsoft office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
- Excellent writing and communication and interpersonal skills in both Dhivehi and English language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out Preliminary Research on Waste Management System.
- Develop a Conceptual Design for a sustainable Waste Management System
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Implement the Waste Management System.
- Submit Preliminary Reports, Quarterly Progress Report & Project Completion Reports.
