MARKETING MANAGER GR1

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Postgraduate Degree in a relevant Field OR Undergraduate Degree in a relevant field + 2 years middle management experience.
  • Experience working in a similar area at managerial/supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Strategies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill.
  • Able to work overtime as and when required.

     IMPORTANT RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT NO LIMITED TO:

  • Manage the overall marketing department and run the department and its activities towards the goals set by the marketing plan
  • Strengthen overall brand and corporate identity of the corporation.
  • Ensure the right and up-to-date information are delivered to potential clients by all departments of the Agro National.
  • Ensure any change in any product is communicated to all relevant personnel and departments.
  • Lead and organize all marketing campaigns (exhibitions, events, etc) for Agro National.
  • Supervise events with the event organizer/the marketing department staff and ensure that the event organizer has all the resources needed to run the events.
  • Find ways to develop the current marketing activities and tools that will attract the target market.
  • Manage overall media coverage and communication related to marketing and promotion for the Agro National and Build up strategic alliances with media sources.
  • Managing campaigns on social media – study trends and statistics on social media
  • Coordinate all printing activities and materials related to marketing.
  • Monitor the work of the marketing staff and offer them ideas to broaden their vision
  • Ensure proper guidelines are given to all marketing staff and other staff involved in marketing activities
  • Find ways to fully utilize the resources provided by the Agro and ensure that the costs do not overrun the budget.
  • When sponsoring other events, ensure proper research is done on the possible return on investment and select sponsoring activities strategically.
  • Organize necessary marketing and business trips that is targeted to promote AgroNet.
  • Direct and organize events to develop public relations 
  • Keep current with technology, innovative marketing techniques and communication trends
  • Appraise the marketing staff annually as per the set guidelines and ensure marketing targets are reached
  • Ensure right and up-to-date content are available on the website
  • Organize and formulate mechanisms to get feedback from customers on functions related to marketing
  • Coordinating and managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, brochures, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs.
  • Writing and proofreading any written information that is sent out.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials.
  • Attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions that would promote the Agro National.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Agro National that are in relation to efforts satisfying customers and farmers.
